There’s nothing more important than seeing our kids accept Jesus and follow him. However, you don’t have to be a parent for more than five seconds to realize it’s the most guilt-ridden, shaming task on the planet. So often, we get busy. We work. We try to keep a house semi-clean. Travel from one activity to another. Oh yeah, and screens. As if we need something else to distract us.
That’s why we created TwentyTwoSix. To help you be more intentional, become more confident and make the most of the time you have with your kids, not to add anything to your already busy day.

7 Practical Ways to Disciple Your Children
As parents, we have the ability to raise an entire generation of kids who love God and others. This free PDF will give you the ideas you need to get started.

Why 22:6?
At 22:6 Parenting, we believe in the mission of Proverbs 22:6—”Start a youth out on his way; even when he grows old he will not depart from it.”
But as a parent, how does this look day-to-day? How do we raise our children to love God and love others?
After 16 years of counseling families, we learned a lot about child development and discipling kids. When we became parents, we realized quickly that we weren’t meant to do it alone. That’s why we developed community, content, and coaching for all parents, so we can journey together and help each other be more intentional with the time we have with our kids.
What You Get with a Membership
Community
TwentyTwoSix is a shame-free community of parents seeking to encourage one another in our most important role—that of mom and dad. A community of parents who walk together to create the environment necessary to “Start a youth out on his way…” (Proverbs 22:6).
The community offers:
- Private Facebook Group
- Live Monthly Q & A with Dr. Josh + Christi
- Share stories
- Ask questions
- Encourage and learn from other parents in your season of life
Content
TwentyTwoSix provides the tools you need to talk about God to your kids without adding anything to your already busy day (on the first of every month). Built on the four key times of the day Moses encouraged us to use in Deuteronomy 6, each month’s content includes:
- Morning prayers
- Dinnertime stories
- Drive time games
- Bedtime questions
- Weekly Bible stories
- Recommended Resources
You don’t have to complete it all each month. This is designed for you to choose what is best for your family.
The goal is to help you invest intentionally with your kids when you can and provide the community to help you do just that.
Coaching
Each month you will receive a coaching video on that month’s mile marker with practical application for how to foster character development and spiritual formation in your kids.
Here’s an idea of the kind of mile markers we cover.
- Establishing Family Values
- Building Confidence (Fear not)
- Finding Courage (Do not be discouraged)
- Controlling Anger (Do not sin in anger)
- Feeling Accepted (Dealing with rejection)
- Being Thankful
